Another day filled with sun and adventure around South Coast NSW.
A gorgeous day in Kiama became more amazing with a drop in to Penny Whistlers for coffee and brunch. Another great local dog-friendly cafe and restaurant!
Read their full menu here:
Pet friendly: There’s a few outdoor tables that allow pets.
Parking: Plenty of free street parking available in the immediate area.
Nearby: Just a few minutes from the Kiama Blowhole and plenty of beautiful beachside spots
The View: Stunning scenery out towards the bay and open ocean. Plenty of opportunity for people watching.
We ordered the Open Steak Sandwich; 36 Degree South beef eye fillet with aioli, watercress, avocado and chimichurri on grilled ciabatta served with crunchy chat potatoes and the Crispy Battered Fish Burger; Freshly battered flathead, iceberg, coleslaw, house-made tartare and American cheddar on a soft milk bun. Served with fries.
Holy crap it was DELICIOUS. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fish crumbs were crunchy.
And wonderful service from the staff, which always makes a dining experience so much better. We met a furry friend who we gave an Alfred neckerchief to. Hope to see you again soon buddy!
The venue has indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of room. It’s located by the water at Kiama and near all the local shops and hotels with plenty of free car parking around. We definitely recommend a visit soon.
Thanks Penny Whistlers!
